In addition to the many years spent working in the tourism and as a lover of healthy living Mrs Anja Jaenicke Kaliterna opened the first Tea house in this part of Europe in 2006 . The „Tea House Natura" is located in the center of Split ( in Bosanska street No.2 ) , and works as a Shop and as a Tea Room, where you can taste the authentic Croatian herbs and teas from all over the world, with high original cuisine.

( Attention! you can eat and taste specialties only through reservation - booking ! )

In the first few years the Tea House was visited by many celebrities ( singers, actors , artists ...), and was visited by manager of famouse magazine „Figaro“ from Japan, so the Tea House „Natura“ was promoted in the magazine as a „Must visit shop in Split!“. Soon, this shop has become great attraction of the city of Split. In the store You will find over 300 species of teas from aroud the world, the Mediterranean (Dalmatian!) herbs and spices, as well as a rich assortment of dishes for tea from porcelain, ceramic, glass, cast iron...

 

Mrs Anja Jaenicke Kaliterna was working several years as an editor and Tv presenter in her TV show " Its Tea Time! " , by which the market was informed and educated about this unique place and its offer, and some of the shows ( although the Croatian language ) can be seen here!

 

You have opportunity to join Anja in her Tea & Food tasting experiances, chatting with her and the other customers about inovative teas and foods sourced from exceptional local producers around Croatia.

 

What can we taste?

 

Anja will hand-pick 5-8 different tea sorts (mainly Green, Oolong and Black raritys, as well as some Dalmatian Herbal teas...) depend of the interests of who s there, and also on her latest finds, you will be able to taste different kind of cheese, cured meat, very special smoked fish (included first Croatian caviar!), interesting salads, salmon or meat carpaccio, all flavoured infront of Your eyes with spices „Natura“.

 

At the end you will enjoy the dessert, especially made in the „Tea House Natura“ and enriched with some interesting „Natura“ teas. The „Tea Hose Natura“ offers group tastings, and also private tastings custom-tailored for your party.

In this walking tour in the city of Split, You will be able to buy many local products such as, souvenirs, artwork, jewelry, original clothing items, antiques, and domestic food and drinks products. You will also find out something about the past and the modern time of the city. The walking tour will be cca 4-5 hours long, and includes a very good lunch after the shopping.
