Members of „ Gastro Tours in Cro“ are a group of enthusiasts - fans of fun, very good food, as well as fans of the beautiful nature that the Lord created in this part of Europe. We believe that even though we belong to the European Union, each country, including Croatia must cultivate their own customs, such as traditional crafts, culinary recipes, cultivation of agricultural and other cultures, conservation of nature... cause through such a way of living and diversity, we can be closer to each other, even more. Since our trips and tours are not based on the type of mass tourism, but we try to devote the maximum of our guests, so are our special destinations. So although you can visit with us in a special way the city of Split or Trogir for example ... mostly we are going to show you some more quiet, secret places, without the typical summer crowds, where we will discover the beauty of nature, architecture, typical crafts and culinary specialties , along with the required entertainment.

 

Founder „Gastro Tours in Cro“

 

Founder of „Gastro tours in Croatia“ is Mrs Anja Jaenicke Kaliterna , born in Berlin (Germany); she grew up in Croatia where she spent a large part of her earlier life. She also lived in Germany and often travelled through Europe collecting valuable experience. In addition to the many years spent working in the tourism , as a lover of healthy living she also opened the first Tea house in this part of Europe in 2006 . The Tea House „Natura " is located in the center of Split, in the Bosanska street No.2, and works as a Shop and as a Tea Room, where you can taste the authentic Croatian herbs and teas from all over the world, with high original cuisine.

In the first few years the Tea House was visited by many celebrities ( singers, actors , artists ...), and was visited by the manager of the famouse magazine „Figaro“ from Japan, so the Tea House „Natura“ was promoted in the magazine as a „Must visit shop in Split!“. Soon, this shop has become great attraction of the city of Split. Mrs Anja Jaenicke Kaliterna was working as an editor and Tv presenter in her TV show " Its Tea Time! " , by which the market was informed and educated about this unique place and its offer, and some of the shows ( although the Croatian language ) can be seen here!

Through the project "GastroTours in Cro" Mrs Anja and her team will do everything to make your visit to Dalmatia very special and unforgettable!
